Today's Route  [Nazaré to Luso]

We’ll leave Nazaré and head inland toward Luso, turning the drive into a full day of markets, monasteries, and coastal viewpoints. We’ll stop for local flavor at Mercado Municipal da Nazaré, visit Batalha to see its stunning local Monastery and its quirky tiled Pan Am billboard, then continue on to elegant palaces and dramatic lighthouse views before a hearty lunch at Restaurante Casa Chelense. The day finishes in the lush Bussaco forest with the tallest tree in Europe, peaceful Fonte Fria and Via Sacra paths, and a royal-style dinner at Mesa Real before spending the night at the fairytale Bussaco Palace Hotel.
